“Lead Me, Guide me”

Lead me, guide me along the way,
For if you lead me, I cannot stray.
Lord, let me walk each day with thee.
Lead me, O Lord, lead me.*

I am weak and I need thy strength and power
To help me over my weakest hour
Lead me through the darkness thy face to see
Lead me, O Lord, lead me.

Let’s Appreciate our Shepherds

October is Pastors Appreciation Month..  On Sunday, October 20th, we will honor Pastor Debra Shaw and Pastor Derrick Fellows. It is also Friends and Family Day. Come prepared with a gift to show your appreciation. On Gratitude Sunday, November 24th, we will recognize and show gratitude to Bishop Minor and First Lady, Dr. Natoya. Bishop will also recognize members who have gone “over and beyond” despite personal challenges.

From the Desk of the Bishop:

This morning we have added again our Morning Hymn. It is just a few lines of one of the “old songs of Zion” that must be planted  into our hearts. These are the great songs of the church that have so much meaning. Like Michael Jackson said at many concerts: “I love the new stuff, but I really really love the old songs that got us going.

Today, we sang “Lead me Guide me.  May it bless you.

Think on these things…
